Under the Sea Challenge at the Outlawz

Every other Saturday, we have a new Saturday Paper A La Mode Challenge at the Outlawz! Our theme for this challenge is UNDER THE SEA.

Here is my card using items from the We Are 3 Digital Shop. I used my navy ink to stamp a seahorse, fish schools, and some sea plants. The image is precolored, but I went over it with my copic markers to give it a little more pop.

Floral Mums by We Are 3 Digital Shop

Here is a card I made with the new printable (digital) image from the set Floral Mums by We Are 3 Digital Shop. The set has two versions of floral mums. A regular size and then there is one made for a slimline card. I used the regular size and reduced it to fit a 5 x 7 inch card.

I colored the Floral Mum image with copic markers and then layered onto digital paper from the Darcy's Garden set (yes, made especially for me!) and then that was layered onto purple cardstock and then again layered onto Watercolor Strokes digital paper.

I finished off with a piece of lace. This will be a birthday card. I hope you like it!

Happy Spring/Easter at the Outlawz Challenges

I used an HP Color Laserjet to print my digital elements onto Neenah cardstock. Then, I just did some cutting and layering onto some Bazzil cardstock in a pretty dusty purple color.

Outside Looking in!

It's Saturday!  What a nice change in temperatures for us in the Midwest. We went from -20F to almost 50 F in about 10 days!  Wow! I'll take it. A lot of our snow is melted away, but we still have quite a bit where we had to pile it up after moving it off the walks and driveways.

Never too soon for holiday cards!!

I made my first holiday card of the year. Usually this time of year, I am making birthday cards or Easter cards, but I thought I would make a Christmas card using We Are 3 Digital products. I added diamond stickles to the "halo" around the scene and used a die cut from my stash to put up in the right hand corner.

Turner Syndrome Awareness

 Hi all!

I made a card to help with Turner Syndrome Awareness. The items I used were from the We Are 3 Digital Shop which is one of the sponsors for the Turner Syndrome Awareness "It's a Girl Thing" Blog Hop.  Follow the link to participate in the blog hop, but hurry, it ends the last day of February.

Copied from the Blog Hop site: Something I learned about Turner Syndrome. 

Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born with only one X chromosome, instead of two, leaving her with life-long medical issues and learning disabilities. This condition occurs one in 2,500 female births worldwide, but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to full term. That is why Turner Syndrome Females are considered MIRACLES!

My card is about a different kind of miracle. The kind where butterflies are born from a curious life cycle from caterpillar to butterfly!!!

CRAFT FOAM is the cue for the latest OUTLAWZ Crash your Stash Challenge. Oversize Bookmark! We Are 3 Digital Paper

I have a friend who is an avid reader and I made this bookmark for her with one of the new Slim Line digital papers by We Are 3 Digital Shop. I like the Slim Line papers for bookmarks. This one is called Red Cinnamon Spice from the Sky Scenes Slim Line Collection. I will give this to my friend because I know she will love it.

A Special Day card

Sometimes it's fun to make a card that can be used for any special occasion and that is just what I did when I made this card.

We Are 3 Digital Shop has some beautiful background papers that are new in the shop. For this card, I used Purse Textures and digitally layered a printable, Margaret's Wreaths,  on top of it along with a sentiment. Because the wreath is a transparent, PNG file, I needed to add a light colored background paper and chose Something Blue.  After printing it out and trimming, I adhered to a cardstock layer and then added a ribbon. So simple, but I really like the way it turned out, especially after adding some colored rhinestones in the corners..

Crashing "Anything Goes--You pick your stash"

ANYTHING GOES is the cue for the latest OUTLAWZ Crash your Stash Challenge.
