Outlawz Creative Freebie Challenge

Alas, all good things must come to an end sooner or later. This is the last Outlawz Creative Freebie Challenge. Anne and Sandi have so generously given away their free digi images for quite some time. Both ladies are very involved in so many activities and time has become an issue! The both of them will still be around on the web and you will see them regularly at the Outlawz and Through the Craftroom Door Magazine.

Here is their websites if you would like to visit!

I made a card using the image which I colored in with my Copic Markers. And I attached some pink twine, an orange button and in the upper right corner, I added some more twine, three stick pins and some pink paper flowers. Through the Purple Haze Challenges #20

Another new challenge at Through the Purple Haze Challenges!

Through The Purple Haze Challenges

This week we have two sponsors, Encino Stamps and MMCS.  My Mum's Craft Shop will give a prize of  £10 coupon and Encino Stamps will have prizes for the Top 3.

http://www.encinostamps.com/     http://www.mymumscraftshop.co.uk/

The Design Team B all used images from Encino Stamps and we were also to use something old from our stash. My image is Gerlinde the tortoise and my "something old" is the red buttons I put in the four corners. I don't use buttons very often, don't know why, they really add a lot to a card!

My papers are from my stash and so are the buttons. I colored my image with Copic Markers.
Turtle: YG03,YG67, YG00, YG02
Red Bow: R39, R46, R43
Hearts on Shell: R43
Eyes: E34
Background: RV0000

I am taking an online background class from Marie Gamber. It is called Creative Backgrounds with Marie and it can be found at Color Me Creative. I used one of her techniques for my background that is very subltle. If you want to add more pizazz to your colored images, her background class is simply a must!!!  Here's a closeup view!

I'm also putting my card in these challenges!

Simply Betty November Fan Page

For this November Facebook Fan Page Challenge, we were offered our choice of two images to help celebrate Thanksgiving.  There is Pilgrim Corinne and Little Indian Betty.  I chose Little Indian Betty and the theme for using this image was to include feathers.
So without further ado, here is my Little Indian Betty card. I colored her with copic markers and incorporated a couple of feathers. The background papers are from my ever-growing stash of paper pads.

A Challenge over at Paper Moments (Jackie R.)

As mentioned in an earlier post for the Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness blog hop, there is a very special challenge over at Jackie Randolph's blog, Paper Moments. The challenge with a Mr. Linky is at the bottom of Jackie's post.

PHUN 4 PULMONARY HYPERTENSION AWARENESS BLOG HOP AND CHALLENGE

http://www.phassociation.org/SometimesItsPH/TakeAction

Welcome to our PHun 4 Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Blog Hop.

We are sharing awareness on Pulmonary Hypertension, why early diagnosis is so important for PH patients!

I am so honored to be a participant in today's PHun 4 PH Awarness Blog Hop

If you have arrived from Corinne's Blog then you are in the right place. However, if you just arrived why don’t you start at Betty's Blog, so you don’t miss any of the amazing creations.

Here is the card I made using this wonderful butterfly and awareness ribbon image by Betty Roberts of Simply Betty Stamps.

I used Spellbinders Grand Labels 4 for my dies, background papers from my stash, and a brand new ribbon from Ribbon Girl! (Brand new because I just got it a couple of days ago). The periwinkle flower is from my stash also. I colored my image with Copic Markers and paper pieced the zebra pattern onto the wings.

Now, for an important fact about Pulmonary Hypertension..............

DID YOU KNOW?  - PH affects both men and women...but women are 4 times more likely than men to be diagnosed with PH, and they are just as likely to have a delay in diagnosis.

For more information on Pulmonary Hypertension, visit http://www.phassociation.org/SometimesItsPH/TakeAction

If you would like this wonderful image from Simply Betty Stamps that I used on my card, all you need to do is email Betty at simplyb10@aol.com  and give her the answer to the following question and she will send you the image. Also, if you would like to have the adorable free image that Tamara from The Stamping Chef has made for tomorrow's blog hop, email Tamara at infothestampingchef@mail.com  with the answer to the following question.

The question to answer for your free images is: "How many treatments are FDA approved for children with PH?"

Hint:  You will find the answer to the question on one of the blogs.

Now head over to Katya's Blog to see what she has created.

Thanks for hopping with us today. The hop will end on Saturday November 16th at 11:59 PM EST.

One reminder - be sure to leave comments along the hop for a chance to win PRIZES!

Winners will be posted on the Papermoments Blog  on Saturday November 23rd.

Challenge Time for even more prizes!!!

More fun ahead.  A challenge will be posted on Sunday 6 pm EST on http://papermoments.blogspot.com/ .

The theme is to have a periwinkle/purple awareness ribbon on your project (it can be a sticker, image, cut file, punch). The challenge will end Saturday, November 16th 11:59 pm EST - winners to be announced on Saturday the 23rd. There are some pretty great giveaway prizes!

We would just love it if you would visit each of the blogs and leave a comment.

Outlawz Creative Freebie Challenge

Howdy! I'm just getting this in before the time is up. Here are my two cards for the Outlawz Creative Freebie Challenge. Sandi (Sandi's Samples) and Anne (Anne's Digital Art) gave us a wheelbarrow and a window to play with this time.  Thanks ladies for always giving us a couple of really fun images for the challenge.

I knew what I wanted to make but getting it down on a card was a little frustrating but I was okay with how these two cards turned out.  Be sure to go to the challenge page and see what everyone else did!

Happy Friday and have a great weekend!
