New Wednesday Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz

Happy Wednesday! All month is Baby month at the Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz. Trina is having a baby and I hear it is a boy!! She is due any day so we thought we would celebrate that with a month long virtual card shower!! She does so much for the Outlawz!!

To enter the sketch challenge, you do not have to make a baby card, but if you choose to, your name will be entered in a separate drawing at the end of the month for a $5 digi prize from Deedee's Digis.

And Deedee's Digis is our sponsor for the whole month and she is giving our regular May Sketch winner a prize of $25 towards digis in her store. Isn't that a fabulous prize???

So, actually by entering our challenge, you have two chances to win a prize from Deedee's. From all the Sketch entries in May, a name will be drawn for the $25 prize and from all the baby card entries, a name will be drawn for the $5 prize.

And now for the awesome sketch. 

And here is my card!! And I didn't even need to rotate it! LOL

The image is so adorable and is called Pocket Pal Kitten. Now I need to go buy the Pocket Pal Puppy!!   I colored the image with Copic markers. The sentiment is also from Deedees. The papers and ribbon are from my stash as well as the sparkly brads (Doodlebug, I think!). The Lil' One sentiment is a clear stamp by Paper Studio that I stamped in Adirondack Denim ink.

Babies, Babies, Babies--new Outlawz Sketch Challenge

We're having a BABY theme this month at the Outlawz Sketch Challenge in honor of Trina who is having a baby this month. Trina is a key member of the Outlawz Design Team and Administration. She was a long-time member of the Sketch team and remains our go-to person when things need fixing around the site.

And we are kicking off this baby theme with this weekly challenge here on May 6. Hope you will visit the challenge and read about the prizes we will be offering in May.  And see all the baby cards my teammates made with wonderful images from Deedee's Digis!

Without further ado, here is this week's sketch! (I love this one!)

For my card, I used Deedee's set Caity Caterpillar and had to rotate the sketch to make it work. Seems like most weeks, I rotate the sketch!!

I colored my image and butterflies with Copic markers. The pink flowers were stickers from my stash. "Welcome, little one" is a Gina K Designs stamp. The ribbon-like elements are actually stickers from my stash, too!

May Progressive Challenge at the Outlawz

Happy May Day everyone!!  I'm excited to tell you that the month of May starts off with a new Progressive Challenge at the Outlawz!!

I colored my image with Copic markers.  The paper is from my stash and so is the banner!

ABOUT OUR CHALLENGE:

We had a great amount of participants in April and hope to have even more for the month of May. If you took part in this progressive challenge in April, you will automatically receive by email the May image. If you didn't take part but want to, it is easy to join the fun.

First, you must be a member of the Outlawz. If you aren't a member, just drop by and ask to join. After your request is approved, you can join the Progressive Challenge or any of our other seven challenges.

Next, you will need to register to play. Do this by sending an email to the address on the challenge page with your name and email address and your image will be sent to you.

Rules: 

The rules are very simple: join the challenge, join the progressive/freebie group, send us an email to register and then enter a project made with the image supplied before 6:00 p.m. EST on the last day of the month and you will automatically get the next image. If for any reason you don’t get your project made and you would like to rejoin us, you can buy the image of the month from the sponsor's store and as long as you enter it before the end of the month you will get the next one free and you will then get them automatically each month you enter a project.

Please do not add your image to Pinterest, or your blog or anywhere it can be copied from without a watermark.
