Oliver and Olivia again!!

Another week gone by and so has the month!!  We have a new Festive Friday's Challenge at the Outlawz Challenges!

This week our four themes are Card with a Bow, Card with Water, Favorite Treat, and Christmas.

I chose the Card with a Bow theme.  My image is Oliver and Olivia by our sponsor Sheepski Designs. I think they are a Hoot!!  LOL

I colored with Copic Markers and some Prismacolor pencils. the papers and ribbon are from my stash.

And here is my card using Sunflowers by Sheepski Designs.  I used Copic markers to color the sunflowers and the background is Distress Inks by Tim Holtz. I finished with some pencils. The embellishments and papers are from my stash.

Oliver and Olivia at the Festive Friday's Challenge

It's Friday and so that means we have a new Festive Friday's Challenge at the Outlawz Challenges!
This week our four themes are Here Comes Spring, Card with a Cat, It's Wine Time, and Christmas.

I chose the Here Comes Spring theme.  My image is  Oliver and Olivia by our sponsor Sheepski Designs. Such a cute pair of owls.

I colored with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils and a Black Staedler pen. The printed paper is from my stash. Happy Spring is an acrylic stamp by Close to my Heart.

Spring, Bumble Bees, and Flowers

The calendar tells me it is spring and we have robins back from their winter getaway, but when I look outside, I see a cold and frosty landscape.

I know spring will arrive eventually and possibly will go straight to hot and humid weather, but for now, I will enjoy spring by making springlike cards such as this one I made for the Outlawz Sketch Challenge. 

My image is Bumble Bee Blossom and is from our sponsor, Sheepski Designs.I colored with Copic markers and added a few Prismacolor pencils here and there. The stamens are highlighted with a Sharpie White Poster Paint pen, my new best friend!  My papers, pearls, and ribbon are from my stash. Some Wink of Stella on the bee's wings and I was done!
My card is 6 x 6 inches and I've already given it away as a birthday card to my friend whose birthday was the 16th.

Festive Friday's Challenge March 16, 2018

There is a new challenge at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge!  

This week our themes are  Male Birthday Card, Windy Day, Spring Birds, and Christmas!

I was able to combine two of the themes. I used Windy Day and Male Birthday Card.

 Here is my card!

I colored the Smile image by Sheepski Designs with Copic markers and Prismacolor Pencils. The papers are new from Stampin' Up! The sentiment is a rubber stamp by Printworks. I drew my kite template and cut it out and pieced it together. I drew the kite string by hand with a black colored pencil.

Bob Festive Friday's Challenge

Well, better late than never! I didn't even know I hadn't published my blog until today!!  I had saved it but that is far as it went.  Some days I just don't know about me!!!  But here is my card for the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge!

This week our themes are  St. Patrick's Day, Favorite Animal, Use A Die Cut, and Christmas!

I chose St. Patrick's Day.  The image I used is by our sponsor for March, Sheepski Designs, and is called Bob.  The only way I could make this a St. Patrick's Day card was to make Bob green!! LOL

 Here is my card!

I colored "Bob" with Copic markers and got out my St. Patrick's stamps for the shamrocks and sentiments. Really fun coloring a green robot!! LOL

I colored with Copic markers and some little white dots in the flower centers are from my Sharpie White Poster Paint Pen. I just used papers from my stash and made a Thank You card.

Augie at the Outlawz Festive Friday's

I should have blogged about the new challenge at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge yesterday but sometimes life just gets in the way!!  I guess I'm just a day late! Well, sometimes, you just can't help it!!

This week our themes are  Lots of Glitter, Thinking of You, Music Fills the Air, and Christmas!

I chose Christmas and Lots of Glitter. Anyone that knows me well, knows my love of glitter and even though I'm not a fan of loose glitter so much anymore, I absolutely love glittered cardstock!! The image I used is by our sponsor for March, Sheepski Designs and is called Augie. I love how he is peeking behind something and instead of a wall, I made him peek behind a ginormous Christmas present!

 Here is my card!

The glitter paper is from Close to My Heart and so is the little bow die cut at the top of the package. For my little hearts, I used a Stampin' Up! heart border punch and used the little hearts that were left behind from the punching. I used Copic markers to color Augie, the peeking bear. The background patterned layer is Happy Mail to Santa Claus which was perfect for my aqua and red glitter paper to coordinate with! I was going to add more glitz, but sometimes you just have to restrain yourself!!
