I colored with Copic markers and used a rubber stamp for stamping the greeting. I had a tricky time with making the banner using partial cuts from circle dies. Kept trimming until it fit my card. And finished off with Diamond Stickles!

Outlawz Color Challenge April 28

The Outlawz Color Challenge has a new challenge today! In fact, there is a new challenge every Tuesday! I'm guesting there again this week!

To play in the challenge, you use the colors from the inspiration photo and a "twist". This week, the twist is "Winged Things".  That covers a lot of things, Fairies, bees, butterflies, birds, angels, and on and on!!

Howdy!! Here is my card for the My Whimsical Little World Progressive Challenge.

The link above will take you to Paola and My Whimsical Little World's facebook page.  Here is how the challenge works.
To start, you go to the SHOP and purchase the digital image of the bunny for 50 percent off.
Then, in the photo album on the facebook page, you place your photo.
Next month, you get the May image for free!!  That is so fun!! I can't wait to see what the May image will be.

Gerda's Progressive Challenge - April

Today I have a card that I made for Gerda Steiner Designs' Progressive Challenge for the month of April.  The image is Coffee Girl.

Blooming Blessings by Deedee's Digis

Here is a card I made for Deedee's Digis Progressive Challenge. If you make a card with the image of the month, you get the next months's image (which is a wonderful set, actually) automatically sent to you!

Wednesday Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz

Hello everyone! This week we have a really nice sketch for you at the Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge, but first let me mention our sponsor for the month of April. We are so happy to have Krista's wonderful digi company be our sponsor this month!

Okay, now to see the sketch! The nice thing about most sketch challenges is that you are allowed to rotate the sketch. I actually didn't know that I had rotated it until I went to post my card in the DT area of the challenge and saw a somewhat different looking sketch than I had used. When I made my card, I had the printed piece of paper upside down. Whoops!! But it's okay as we always say it is okay to rotate and flip, just as long as we can see how you used the sketch as your inspiration.! Whew!!  Here is the Sketch.

And here is my card using our sponsor image of this adorable elephant!!

I colored my image with Copic markers and drew in some confetti for the background behind the elephant. The buttons are made with a punch by Martha Stewart. The twine is from Doodlebug. My lavender background layer came already embossed so that was nice and easy!

Outlawz Color Challenge April 21 Tic Tac Toe

Who wants to play a little game of Tic Tac Toe!!!
That is what the Outlawz Color Challenge is playing this week. You can pick any three in a row, up, down, diagonal!

How fun!!!  Here is the Tic Tac Toe

I chose a diagonal ----from the upper left corner down to the lower right corner. So, for my colors, I used the hot pink, white, and lime green.

My sentiment and image is by Close to My Heart. the papers, gems and the ribbon flower are all from my overflowing stash of goodies!

And here is my card using a Drawn with Character image.  Aren't these love birds so adorable? I'm planning to give this card to my hubby for our anniversary in June.  40 years!!! Hard to believe!!

I know, I probably should give him a "ruby" card for 40 years, but I may make one yet!! And this card could be a birthday card or Father's Day!!!!   Hmmmmm.....we'll see!

Outlawz Color Challenge

Wait until you see the delightful inspiration photo for the Outlawz Color Challenge!!  It was love at first sight for me!! I am guesting this week at the Color Challenge, where I am always made to feel so welcome!!!  I love those ladies there!!

Here is the lovely picture I'm talking about!!  The colors are so vivid and gorgeous!!  The twist this week is "Anything but a card."  I had to put on my thinking cap for this one as I am 99 percent cards!! But then I remembered I had just last week taken a picture of a beautiful bluebird that has returned with its mate after a very long winter. I snapped the photo out of my bathroom window and was amazed at how well it turned out. I had planned to scrap this picture in a scrapbook that I am making which contains my most favorite photos. (which consists mostly of my family!). So when this Anything but a Card Challenge came along, I knew what I wanted to make!!!!

So here is my 12 x 12 inch scrapbook page using the above colors! The papers are from my stash along with those pretty white flowers. The computer made my journaling for me! Here is my scrapbook page!

ABOUT OUR CHALLENGE:

We had a great amount of participants in March and hope to have even more for the month of April. If you took part in this progressive challenge in March, you will automatically receive by email the April image. If you didn't take part but want to, it is easy to join the fun.

First, you must be a member of the Outlawz. If you aren't a member, just drop by and ask to join. After your request is approved, you can join the Progressive Challenge or any of our other seven challenges.

Next, you will need to register to play. Do this by sending an email to the address on the challenge page with your name and email address and your image will be sent to you.

Rules: 

The rules are very simple: join the challenge, join the progressive/freebie group, send us an email to register and then enter a project made with the image supplied before 6:00 p.m. EST on the last day of the month and you will automatically get the next image. If for any reason you don’t get your project made and you would like to rejoin us, you can buy the image of the month from the sponsor's store and as long as you enter it before the end of the month you will get the next one free and you will then get them automatically each month you enter a project.

Please do not add your image to Pinterest, or your blog or anywhere it can be copied from without a watermark. You can not share these images with anyone – if your friends or family want them send them HERE to join in and get their image or if they don’t want to join the challenge please send them to the sponsor's store to purchase the image.
