Under the Sea

For my cards today, I have used a beautiful set of 8 digital papers by We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is called Under the Sea.

For my first card, I used Under the Sea-Coral Reef digital paper. I printed it off on cardstock and then stamped on it with some stamps from Lavinia and Lavinia World (Fairy Hugs). I used die cuts from Underwater World by Amy Design ADD10211, also sold at Lavinia World. This die set comes with a 5 inch long seascape, shells, fish, starfish, and bubbles. It is one of three Underwater World sets. I hope to own them all by the end of the year! LOL

Travel back in time with Trains

We Are 3 Digital Shop has a great set of digital paper celebrating Trains. And there are train/vintage printables in a set called Trains, also. Bonnie created these sets for one of our WR3 Design Team members, Camille, who just adores trains and is fascinated by them.

I made a card using Trains for my digital paper and for my printable that I digitally placed in the empty area of my Trains paper. I then added a sentiment, Life is a Journey, digitally from the Travel set. Using png file formats in Microsoft Word is how I digitally layer images and get them ready to print onto cardstock. That is the easiest way I have found to do it. I then stamped a Happy Birthday in the "white space" and adhered my card to a 6 x 6 card base.

Crashing Silk and Paper Flowers

Floral Doilies by We Are 3 Digital

We Are 3 Digital Shop has some really pretty printables from the Floral Doily set. I have made a couple of cards using two of the printables and digitally placed them on the We Are 3 Watercolor Strokes digital paper. I used a sentiment from the For You sentiment set to finish out my digitally enhanced card. I printed the digital design onto Neenah cardstock with my HP Color Laserjet printer.

Here are my two cards. 

This first card uses Purple Skies from the Watercolor Strokes digital paper set and the printable image is Pansies from the Floral Doily set.  The sentiment is from the For You Sentiments set. The fleur de lis die cut makes a nice border. I added some purple gingham ribbon and a few amethyst gems.

My second card is quite similar to the first card, using Fuschia Delight from the Watercolor Strokes set, Garden Bouquet printable from the Floral Doily printables set and a sentiment from the For You digital sentiment set. I used real lace and wove some crushed dusty pink ribbon through the lace.

Autumn Fairy and Lavender Dilly

It's September already!  Time to start thinking about pulling up my veggie plants and getting out my fall decor for the house! Also, time to think about making those fun fall cards.

Here is a card I made with all Lavinia Stamps and a paper from a set of digital paper by We Are 3. The set is called Fairy Dreams. You get a set of 8 digital papers to play with. The particular paper that I used from the set is called Lavender Dilly. Love that name!!

Here is my card using Fairy Dreams-Lavender Dilly by We Are 3 Digital Shop. I used Lavinia stamps. The stamps I used are: Autumn Fall Fairy (large), Bat Colony, Creeping Vine, Fern Heads, and Dragon set.  I stamped the Creeping Vine in fall colors to contrast with the soft lavender background of the paper. I added Diamond Stickles to the fairy wings and to the fern heads.

I'm entering my card in the Lavinia World Challenge.
