Winter is Back!! So is the Festive Friday's Challenge

After several days in the 60's and 70's.........Ahhhhhhhh!!!!   Winter is Back!!!  I woke up to snow this morning. No big surprise because it was forecasted and after all it is just February in the Midwest!! I heard the rain switching over from rain to hail to sleet while I was trying to sleep. Gotta love the four seasons!!! 

And speaking of four, we have four new themes this week at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge.  Winter Trees, Angel Card, Get Well Bear, and Glass of Wine.

I chose Winter Trees and used a grayscale image by Make It Crafty. I cut out "peace" from my Tim Holtz Holiday Script die set from a matte silver cardstock which matched my bottom layer. The aqua layer went with the BG10 Copic color I used to make some drifts of snow around the bare trees. Of course, it was all finished off with Diamond Stickles for some glittery snow effect.

And here is my card. I used Sandra Caldwell image Angel Heart. 

I colored with my Copic markers. The papers are from my stash! The hearts on the left side are from a new die set by Stampin' Up! called Love Notes framelits. The heart punch by Stampin' Up makes a great layer underneath the striped heart die cut.

Build a Snowman at Festive Fridays Outlawz Challenge

Four new great themes this week at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge.  Playing music, Celebrate a Birthday, Seasons Greetings, Build a Snowman
I decided to go with Build a Snowman and I used an image by Anne Fenton (Anne's Digital Art)

I colored with Copic markers and used Nuvo Glitter Drops to put in my snow.

I colored Kisses Cupcake with my Copic markers. The papers are from my stash! I added sequins and some random stamping with a tiny little stamp of little hearts.

Happy Valentine's Day at Outlawz Festive Fridays Challenge

Four new great themes this week at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge.  Valentine's Day, Santa's Sleigh, Road Trip, and Let's Go Skiing.

I chose Valentine's Day and my card uses a Bugaboo image (Bugaboo sponsors us every month!) 

I colored with Copic markers and tried out my new Nuvo Glitter Drops to paint two of my balloons.The papers are from my stash. The border is a seldom used Martha Stewart border punch but I think I may be using it more often. It makes a really pretty border.

Festive Friday's and Anything Christmas

Four new great themes this week at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge.  Winter Zoo Animals, Groundhog Day, Friends Forever, and Anything Christmas.

Of course, I chose Anything Christmas because I am loving that I am cranking out Christmas cards so many months in advance. I usually start my cards mid-December. Seriously!
So my card uses a Bugaboo image (Bugaboo sponsors us every month!) 

I decided to visit my pile of stashed Christmas odds and ends and found the reverse of a circle die cut, some stickers, red ribbon, and red striped paper. I colored my Bugaboo image with Copic markers and added diamond Stickles here and there.
