Halloween and Spider Webs, oh my!!

Here is my card using items from our sponsor, We Are 3 Digital shop. 

I printed a second spider of the same size and cut out the body (minus the legs) and popped it up on top of the base spider for a little different look. I think it looks a little scarier because it is bigger! LOL

Fairy by Sherry West Art

 I used another beautiful digital paper from the set of 8 digital papers by We Are 3 Digital Shop called Pastel Fantasy and the one I chose to work with is Pink Kaleidoscope.

I made my card for the Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge which goes for two weeks and the poem is HAVE YOU WATCHED THE FAIRIES BY ROSE FYLEMAN. 

Sherry West Art is sponsoring this challenge and I used her cute fairy image.

I printed the We Are 3 digital paper onto cardstock. After embossing an oval die cut, I mounted my Copic colored fairy by Sherry West Art. I put some Diamond Stickles on her wings.

Christmas in Pink

 I used a beautiful digital paper from the set of 8 digital papers by We Are 3 Digital Shop called Pastel Fantasy and the one I chose to work with is Bubble Gum Moon. Don't you love the name?

I printed the digital paper onto cardstock and then stamped on it with some stamps by Penny Black in a Merlot ink. I put some Diamond Stickles on the trees and around the moon. I really love using my Mysti to get a really deep crisp impression.

Crashing Embossing Paste

EMBOSSING PASTE (DIMENSIONAL PASTE) is the cue for the latest OUTLAWZ Crash your Stash Challenge. The purpose of this Challenge is to encourage you to use those items that are no longer trending and probably stashed away in a drawer. Forgotten and alone. So, we are here to help inspire you to dig those items out and bring them new life!

At the start of each challenge, we will tell you what item we want you to pull from your stash to use and you will have a whole month to find, dust off and create something lovely with the item!

Here is my card using JJCallmewitch by Bugaboo.

I used Embossing Paste by Stampin' Up! I used a stencil to add my embossing paste and then sprinkled with ultrafine glitter and let it dry. I was very pleased how it turned out.

The Colors of Fall

I made a card for the Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes challenge. 

 For the month of October our sponsor is: Sherry West Art

Note:  The theme doesn’t have to be taken literally.  You may use any word or phrase out of it for your project.  Two week challenge.

 

Find inspiration in the song or rhyme:

The Colors of Fall

(Diane & Daniel Henderson)

Orange is for a pumpkin big and round.

Yellow is for leaves that fall to the ground.

Red is for an apple ripe for eating.

Green is for monsters that go trick or treating.

Brown is for a football, thrown down the field.

Purple is for grapes from a bountiful yield.

Blue is the sky what a wonderful sight.

Black is for cats that howl in the night.

White is the moon looking quite luminescent

Sometimes it shines in the shape of a crescent.

Pink stripes at a sunset ending our day.

Tan is the scarecrow  - the color of hay.

Grey is the shadow of geese flying by.

Kaleidoscope colors that lift our hearts high.

I colored with Copics and my background layer is from a Lang calendar that I recycled.

Fantasy Textures - Simply Spring

Some time ago, I won a gift card from Gina K Designs and I chose some Framescapes by Theresa Momber. For today's card, I used the Simply Spring Framescape and used a gorgeous digital paper from  We Are 3 Digital Shop called Fantasy Textures-Under the Sea. My card is down below.

 I loved the rich jewel tone colors of the Under the Sea paper in the Fantasy Textures set even though the scene is definitely above ground! I stamped in black Gina K ink many of the stamps that came in the set.  I love this black ink because it is so rich and stamps perfectly.
