Through the Purple Haze Challenges #9

Blog Button

Time for another challenge at the Through the Purple Haze Challenges! This week is a double challenge for Team A and Team B. is a sketch challenge! I love sketch challenges! It is like getting an assignment and completing it!! Hahaha

Team A will make their cards using Stitchy Bear images.

Prize from Stitchy Bear is 10 dollars of digis from artists used in the challenge!

and Team B will make their cards using Penny Black images.

Prize from Penny Black is a stamp set!

As I am on Team B, my card is made with a Penny Black image. But first, I will show you the rather daunting sketch that we had to deal with! At first, it WAS a little daunting, but then when you start looking at it, it just comes together! Here is the sketch!

I turned the sketch on it's side and made my card using a Penny Black image from Mimi's Playground set.  I colored Mimi with copic markers:

Skin: E51,E00, R11
Hair: Y21,YR21, Y28
Dress:  BV00, BV01, BV02
Ribbon on Hat Y17
Grass  G40, W3
Background: G0000, V12, Colorless Blender (I am taking a class at CMC Classroom with Marie Gamber on Backgrounds--- Here  is the link to the Classroom)

Here is my card:

I also used Spellbinders dies and added some flowers, gems,  and ribbon to make up all the elements of the sketch!
Hope you will join the challenge at Through the Purple Haze Challenges!!
