Ice Skating at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge

Christmas is over now but there is plenty of snow and cold weather ahead for us here in the Midwest and most of the country. For my Festive Friday's challenge card at the Outlawz, I chose Snow Sports Day for my theme and my card features a pretty little skating girl. The image is by Anne Fenton of Anne's Digital Art. I remember ice skating as a teenager. So much fun meeting up with my friends at the skating park and then huddling together in front of the fire and drinking cocoa to get warm in the little cabin that the park provided. I wish I had kept my skates! They would have made cute Christmas decorations!

This week at the Festive Friday's Challenge we have four new themes. The other three themes are: Go Tobogganing Day, New Year's Eve Day, and Three Cheers Day.

Here is my card for Snow Sports Day.

Festive Friday's has two sponsors every month!

Our first sponsor is a2zScrapbooking.  The prize for the monthly winner will be a digi kit. What fun!! a2zScrapbooking sells so many products and they are the exclusive dealer for Hero Arts Digital products!

Our second sponsor is Bugaboo!
The prize is $21 worth of digital images.

Hope you will pop in and see what my teammates have made for the Festive Friday's Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by and I wish everyone a blessed and peaceful new year!!

  1. Oh she looks so cute and I adore that background paper. Very nice card. Every year I feel the same way, wishing I had kept my skates to use as decorations because I don't think I could actually skate with them anymore. Those days are gone unfortunately but it would be nice to see them dressing up our front door. Happy New Year.
