Here is this week's sketch!
And here is the card I made using Fuchsia from the Sketch team's own design team member Andrea Norris! LINK TO HER BLOG
I enjoyed coloring this floral image by Andrea. I can remember trying to grow fuchsias for many years but not having much luck because the summers in Iowa are so very hot and humid. It seems that I could never give them enough water and attention for them to thrive. I may try to grow them again this summer.
I colored the image with Copic markers and the embossing folder is one by Anna Griffin. The pearl flourishes are by K and Company.
I hope you will drop by the challenge and see what my teammates have made!!
Have a great day and thanks so very much for stopping by!!
This is just gorgeous, Darcy. Your gems and embossing just help to make your pretty image pop right off the page. When I think of Fuchsias I think of the year my Dad gave me one for Mother's Day. Big beautiful hanging plant and that night we had a terrible frost (yes in May) and I the whole plant died. I missed the weather that night and had no idea that the frost was coming. Luckily yours looks nice and healthy. Have a fabulous night.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Darcy! I love the pearl embellishments and your gorgeous coloring! Love that background, it's perfect!
ReplyDeleteI never have good luck with them either ...:(
Thanks, Janet!
DeleteYour flowers are so life like. I can't wait to get copuc markers and learn how to do this. They are beautiful!
