Outlawz Sketch Challenge 9-9-15

Hi Everyone!
I'm going to be showing you our new Sketch for the Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge as well as my finished card using a Rick St. Dennis image, Bird of Paradise.

Here is the sketch for this week!



And here is my card using Bird of Paradise by Rick St. Dennis Digital Stamps.

First of all, I couldn't wait to start working on this beautifully drawn image by Rick. I have a real fascination with all of his ladies and I loved, loved, loved this one!!

I colored with Copic markers. The wings are accented with Lime Stickles. I used my B99 Copic marker to dye my white flowers to the same shade of blue on the skirt. The skirt is accented with Wink of Stella brush. It came out too fast after I figured out how to use it and then it started drying quickly so I had to work fast and move it around. I don't know why I didn't test it on a piece of scrap paper. You think of these things later!!!!

    Darcy, outstanding coloring with this very pretty image and your background work is great also. I love that you colored your flowers to match. Beautiful card my friend.

    She's absolutely beautiful, Darcy! She's a real stunner! What beautiful coloring, and the little touches of Stickles and Wink of Stella are just perfect! AND....your background is amazing! What a wonderful piece of art!
