Outlawz Sketch Challenge for August 19


Wow, I just took a peek at the Design Team cards that my Outlawz Sketch teammates have made with this week's sketch and I'm blown away!  So much talent on this small team! I hope you will go take a look at my teamies' cards. You can find the Sketch challenge HERE

And here is my card using Spooky Owl by My Whimsical Little World.


I wanted to make a night time scene with that full moon, so I went with my copic markers. First time I've used such a dark color on a somewhat large area and I liked how it was shadowy looking, just like a night sky. I used the Copic white opaque paint to dot in some stars. This is where I usually get carried away, so I had to restrain myself from putting in a zillion more stars.  The papers are from my stash and I used some die cuts I had on hand for the embelllies.

    Fantastic card, Darcy. Your stars look gorgeous so I can see why you had to hold yourself back on putting more. The way you colored the sky is "out of this world" pretty. The paper is the perfect match and that sentiment and image are sweet. Have a fun day.
