Vintage Dress at Outlawz Sketch Challenge 8-9-17

Time for a new Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz!

And here is my card following the sketch using

 Vintage Dress 2 Coloured Version by Digistamps4Joy. The illustrator of the image is Jen Leeflang.

What a beautiful image to work with! And the fact that it is pre-coloured meant that I had no coloring to do and the card went together pretty fast. I used my oval stitched die to cut out the image and adhered it over my background layer which consisted of some white patterned cardstock on the right side and the left side was vellum over a soft red. 

I used some gold foil tape and gold and white dotted washi tape to go across the bottom. The butterflies are cut with a Stampin' Up! punch and the big gold flower is by Paper Studio. I've had these gold flowers in my stash for awhile, waiting for the right time to use them!  The butterflies, washi tape, and flower helped cover up the glue needed to adhere the vellum to the red paper.
