Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz

July is going so fast and we are just about to end of it, but we do have another Wednesday Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz that is sponsored by an awesome digi company, Make It Crafty. I have really enjoyed using MIC images all month. Zoe has had birthday specials all month long for her five year anniversary of her store so I got some really sweet deals.

I had to turn the sketch to make my focal image work and I really like how this card turned out. My focal image is Cordelia Mermaid from Make It Crafty. I think this might be the very first MIC image that I acquired! If not the first, it is for sure one of my earlier ones!! I colored Cordelia with Copic markers and found this cute little sticker border in my stash. The background was created with painting Zig Clean Color Brush markers over a piece of patterned paper and letting it dry before adding some Gold Smooch. I also did a little practicing on my cast shadow (around the mermaid tail).
Final touch was pearl embellies and Diamond Stickles!
