Happy Valentine's Day
Here is my last card for today! It is for the Clean and Simple Outlawz Challenge for Sunday. The theme is White Out. I have used an embossing folder by Sizzix called Love Set #2. The stamped heart is Circle of Love from Kolette Hall and the Be Mine sentiment is from Stampendous Fun Stamps and is one of my very first stamps.
Outlawz PAM Challenge
Another card for another challenge. This card is for the Outlawz Paper ala Mode Challenge for Saturday. The theme is "Anything Goes" so I chose to use images from GinaK Designs Vogue Vases 2. I used paper piecing for the cute little polka dot vase. Very simple but I have always liked the gold/black combo.
One more card to enter into the Outlawz Challenge and I am done for..............today!

It's Thursday already. Time flies. Here is a card I'm entering into the Outlawz Copic/Pro Marker Challenge for this week. I used copic markers to color in a digi image by Judy Thompson called Sleeping Kitten and Mouse. Our theme is Christmas Cards and I had been wanting to use her image for a card and this was perfect. The sentiment is from Simple Snowflakes by GinaK Designs.
Never too early to think about Christmas!
More cards to come!

Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge
My card today is for the Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge using designer paper, brads, and/or embossing. I decorated my card with deep blue brads and used an embossing folder called Spring from Bringing Crafts-Too You. My image is Texas Bluebonnet from Ginak Designs and illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger. I left the inside blank because I was thinking this might make a nice sympathy card.
Stay warm and have a great afternoon!

Outlawz Tuesday Color Challenge
Today's card is for the Outlawz Tuesday Color Challenge. Our colors were to be Electric Orange, Cherries Jubilee, and Haute Pink. One of my favorite color combos. I went to a wedding with those same colors and it was just beautiful.
My mermaid image is a digi from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I colored her in with copic markers and enhanced with a Sakura Stardust glitter pen. This card will go to my 6 year old granddaughter for Valentine's Day. She is all about pink, princesses, mermaids, flowers, and sparkle.
For my sparkly heart, I used a precolored and glittered heart sold in a package at Walmart. It came with about 50 hearts of different colors and sizes.
Have a great week!

Here is a card featuring a digi stamp by Simply B Stamps. She is a fun little digi stamp that was featured for January.
I made my background paper with white cardstock stamped and sponged with Tim Holtz Distress Ink. The image is colored in with copic markers. The white flowers were colored with the distress ink to match.
Thanks, Betty for the super cute image this month!

Outlawz Challenge - Milestone Birthdays
This week, the Outlawz Copic/Promarker Challenge was to make a card with alcohol markers (copic or promarker) and the theme is Milestone Birthdays.
I really love the image from Art Impressions that I chose for my card. The sentiment "Born to be Wild" is also from Art Impressions and came as a duo stamp set. I made my card with a 90th Birthday in mind.
This lady looks like she's having a blast!!!!!!!!!! The kitty in the basket......not so much!

Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge
This morning I made a card for the Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge. This challenge has the twist of making a Masculine card. I made a fishing bear birthday card. It was a lot of fun to color in the image with my copic markers.
The image is an oldie but goodie from Darcie's Country Folk stamps (Darcie Heater). The sentiment "You're a REEL Dandy" and the inside sentiment "Hope your birthday is the catch of the day!" are also from Darcie Heater. I embellished with a jumbo paper clip from the office supply section of Walmart.
Hope you have a great day!

Color Me Creative Challenge- Favorites
So excited to do the next Color Me Creative Challenge- Favorite Color Schemes and Favorite Things.
My card features Pinks, Yellows, and Greens-- a favorite color combo and the Favorite Things are birds, of course. Love all birds of all kinds, shapes, sizes.
The birdie image is from Unity Stamps and the sentiment is from Close to My Heart Stamps. I colored the birds with copics and added jewels to the four corners of the picture. The inside of the card says ".....it's your birthday" (also from CTMH). Had fun making this card!

After a beautiful sunshiney Saturday, the predicted cold front came in and brought some snow with it... which is entirely appropriate for the Outlawz Challenge for Outlawz Monday Greeting Card Challenge. The theme was snow or snowpeople, so I dug out an old stamp from Northwoods Company. The sentiment is from GinaK Designs. I colored with copic markers. The snowflake is from a punch by EK Success.
Hope everyone will stay warm. We are having a wind chill advisory here!

A Little About Me
I love to craft. I will try almost anything that looks creative to me.
As a little girl, my grandmother taught me to embroider and crochet. The crocheting was pretty easy once I learned that you could crochet with a bigger crochet hook than my grandma used to make her doilies.
I learned how to sew and knit. I also did plastic canvas. I think I made about 25 kleenex box covers during that time. I made a pretty involved diaper bag for a friend that was having a baby. It was pretty easy and involved teddy bears on panels that were sown together to make a bag. Simple but involved many hours of work.
And then........... I discovered the world of rubber stamping. And that is my passion to this very day. I own thousands of rubber stamps and all of the "stuff" that goes with it. Beautiful papers, markers, ink pads, glitter glues, embossing powders, chalks, etc. etc. etc.
There really is no means to an end. From rubber stamping, I moved on to scrapbooking. I can spend hours in a store choosing stickers and chipboard embellishments to enhance my scrapbook pages.
