New Sandra Caldwell Release -- 1475 Puppy Sees a Bone

It's Friday, so Sandra Caldwell has several new releases today.  I have been guest designing all month for the  Sandra Caldwell Stamp Fans Facebook group. This is my last week. Sigh!!

This week I chose 1475 Puppy Sees a Bone. I had to have it. It reminded me of my goofy boxer and I really enjoy making Puppy cards.

I used Copic markers to color this sweet puppy. My digital papers are from Jenny L Designs.
 My sentiment is a clear stamp from a Dog set by Image Tree. I cut out the sentiment using the Stitched Framelits by Stampin' Up! The paw print sticker is from my stash and I apologize for not knowing the company name.

Christmas at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge

We have a new challenge  at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge! Each week we give you four themes to choose from and you can enter up to three times per week! 

The themes this week are Splash in a Puddle, Umbrella Day, Old Phones, and Anything Christmas.  For my card, I chose the Anything Christmas theme.  Here is my DT card with a Bugaboo image that I just love! I colored with Copic markers. The image is from a set called Mini Set-Christmas Tags. I have used these images many times. Great for Christmas Cards, not just tags.

My card is pretty simple. I trimmed some red and green glitter paper to go with my background layer. The finished size is 5 x 7 inches.

Here is our Sketch for this week!

I had to rotate the sketch so my image would fit. My image is called Camomile by Bloobel Stamps. It is part of the Flower Garden Collection. 

My image is colored with Copic markers. All of the papers are from my stash.  I used a Spellbinders Nestabilities labels die and stamped the sentiment Be Happy. The washi tape is also from my stash and the pearls are from Stampin' Up!  I added some sequins to finish it off.  My card is 6 inches by 6 inches.

1506 Rainy Day Hippo New Sandra Caldwell Release

Happy Friday!

I'm really loving the Sandra Caldwell Digi images. Every Friday, she releases several new digital images. So we have another awesome release from Sandra Caldwell.  It is called 1506 Rainy Day Hippo.  Be sure to pop by the store and see the other new releases.

Here is my Guest DT card using 1506 Rainy Day Hippo.

I colored my cute hippo with Copic markers. I sponged the clouds using a scalloped circle die cut and my ink was Memento London Fog. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up! set called Sassy Salutations. 
The three coordinating papers in the background are also from Stampin' Up! but soon to be retired. I placed some nail art stickers on the yellow parts of the umbrella for some sparkle. We all need a little sparkle in our lives, especially on rainy days!!

1501 Made a Cake For U New Sandra Caldwell release

Another adorable release from Sandra Caldwell.  It is called 1501 Made a Cake For U. There are several other new releases today, too, so be sure to pop by her store and check them out.

Isn't this a cute digi? I colored her with Copic markers and then found this great Kaleidoscope paper from Close to My Heart that coordinated so well with the colors I used for coloring. The paper pack is retired now. (Sigh.....................!) My sentiment is from a Stampin' Up! set. My finished card size is 5 x 7 inches.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all who celebrate!

We have a new challenge  at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge! Each week we give you four themes to choose from and you can enter up to three times per week! 

The themes this week are Easter Holiday, Rabbits, Easter Eggs, and Christmas Lights. For my card, I chose the Easter Holiday, Rabbits, and Easter Eggs.  Here is my DT card with a Bugaboo image that is so cute! I colored with Copic markers.

I cut my image with my paper trimmer and mounted on some pink glitter paper and then mounted that piece onto some patterned Easter paper I got on clearance. It is always fun to look for papers on the clearance rack because they tend to mark down the holiday papers I have found.  Then I mounted that layer onto another layer of pink glitter paper. I think the glitter paper makes it really look festive!  No embellishments on this card. I did take my white Faber Castell Pitt pen and made some little white dots around the bunnies just for some added interest. Not that the image needed it! It is super cute just the way it is. And I put a few bits of clear Wink of Stella on some of the flower centers.

1474 Hippo Sunbathing by Sandra Caldwell

I am so happy to be guest designing for Sandra Caldwell. Her images are so fun and I can't get enough of them! Especially the hippos!

The Sandra Caldwell image that I got to play with this week is 1474 Hippo Sunbathing. It's Friday, so Sandra is releasing this image for the first time along with several other images. You must go check them out!!

To color my cute image, I used my Copic markers. The toenails were clear Wink of Stella as well as the glitter on her sunglasses. The beachball is actually a brad that I pulled from my stash and the papers in the background were also from my stash. My finished card size is 6 x 6 inches.

Spring Birds

There is a new challenge starting at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge! Each week we give you four themes to choose from and you can enter up to three times per week! 

I chose the Spring Birds theme for my card. Here is my DT card with a Bugaboo image that is a silhouette type of image. I really like silhouette images.

I used my Copic markers to create a green/yellow green background for my image called Silhouette Hummingbird Flowers by Bugaboo.  I cut out the circle with my Spellbinders Circles Nestabilities and then found this beautiful printed green paper in my stash of odds and ends. I cut out a banner with my Stampin' Up! Triple Banner Punch and then stamped the sentiment on the banner. I finished off with Stickles on the flowers and a couple of rhinestones for some more bling!
