I love this cute rubber image by Party Paws and Crafters Companion. I colored the high heeled shoe and the bear with copic markers and I am entering this card into the Outlawz Paper Ala Mode Challenge. The theme is Anything Goes so I was happy about that!
I made this Birthday Card for the Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge. The theme this week is Vintage and Masculine Birthdays. When making this card, I had birds on my mind and even though my husband's birthday isn't until September I decided to make a card for him and this fit in perfectly since he really likes birds as much as I do. The bird is a Sizzix die and the birdcage is a Cheery Lynn die. The elements are from Bo Bunny and I used a rubber stamp for the Birthday greeting. Hope you like my card!
Friends and flowers, they just go together, don't they? I have a card here that I made for the Outlawz Creative Freebie Challenge. We were given a freebie digital image by Anne Fenton to use however we wish in a card of our own design. This image is Nelly Bridesmaid. She is adorable, thanks Anne, for letting us have her to use!
Here is a card I made for the Outlawz Copic/Promarker Challenge. Our challenge was to make a One Layer Card. This was hard for me because I really like to layer papers together. I can't recall the last card I made that wasn't layered. But here it is using an image from Art Impressions.
This card features a get well wish for someone in the hospital. I used a rubber stamp made by Southpaw Productions and I am entering my card in the Outlawz Sketch Challenge. I colored the cat with my copic markers.
The birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming......but some of us don't feel so well. I made this Get WEll Card for a friend in the hospital. The stamped images are from Stampendous and I colored with copic markers.
I'm entering this card into the Outlawz Color Challenge. The colors this week are Dragon Fruit Pink, Brittlebush Yellow, and High Strung Green. The twist is to make a card with "wings". My wings are the birds and butterflies.
Here it is
My card here features Lilliana, a digi image by Betty Roberts for Simply Betty Stamps. I am entering my card in two challenges. The first is the Simply Betty Stamps Fanpage Challenge and the theme colors are Orange, Yellow, White, and Black......... and the second is the Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge with the theme this week being "Fantasy." Hope you like my card.....it was a lot of fun coloring her with my copic markers. I made her hair sparkle with orange stickles.
For my good friends Don and Sunny in Colorado: Happy Anniversary and I'm entering the card I made you into the Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge! The iris image is by Stampendous and stamped with Colorbox Wisteria Chalk Ink. Background papers by Gina K Designs.
Some time ago I purchased a digi from Kenny K and it is called Tom Cruisin.....of course you can guess who it was fashioned after....especially if you remember the famous Sofa Jumping Escapade on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Haha.....I loved it and when I saw this digi, I didn't hesitate.
My card is being entered into the Outlawz Color Challenge, which features Royal Peacock, Gold Crest, and Tricom Black with a "Star" twist. Well, my "star" is mainly the focal point of the card.....celebrity star, Tom. But I did add a few other stars, too! I colored the image with my copic markers.
Here's my card.
The Creative Freebie Challenge at the Outlawz runs for two weeks at a time. Tomorrow wraps it up for this two weeks. We were given a couple of free digis to work with. I have already posted the Poppies in vase by Sandi Hugget and my card below is the giraffe digi by Anne Fenton. Thanks ladies for so generously giving us the freebies to work with. It is really fun to see what everyone comes up with. My card is colored with copic markers and here it is!
The month of June is coming up and so there will be a lot of weddings. Here's a card I made for a wedding that is coming up. I merged two digi images, Victorian Miller and Victorian London together to make a wedding couple. The images are from Simply Betty Stamps.
I love poppies and I grow the bright orange ones. Sometimes if the weather is good, the blooms are huge. I love how they are just so papery thin and blow in the breeze.
Sandi Huggett gave us this image of poppies in a vase to use for the Outlawz Creative Freebie Challenge. Thanks, Sandi! Here's my card.
Here's a card that features butterflies enjoying a variety of summer flowers. I made this card for the Outlawz Clean and Simple Challenge. The theme is butterflies. The rubber stamp I used is from the PSX Company. I colored the image with copic markers.
I needed a sympathy card and I chose pansies (rubber stamp by PSX) because they just seem to be such cheerful little flowers. I have some purple ones growing in a pot in my front yard right now and they are very welcoming when I come home.
I'm entering this card into the Outlawz Copic Promarker Challenge.
Wouldn't it be wonderful just to sail away and let your worries be gone? I made a card featuring a sailboat for an Outlawz Paper Ala Mode Challenge this week featuring "boats". I used a sailboat digi from MyGrafico. Here is the link: Graphics by Dilek Design Studio at MyGrafico.
I colored the image with copic markers and mounted on some blue paper and then mounted that on some brown printed paper.
This week at the Twisted Thursday Outlawz Challenge, the twist is dry embossing. My red layer is embossed a Cuttlebug embossing folder. One of my favorite ones. the papers, ribbon, and stamped image and sentiment are all from Gina K Designs.
I love cardinals and most birds for that matter, but cardinals are just so beautiful with their brilliant red color! When I saw these stickers in the scrapbook section of a favorite store, I knew I had to buy them.
And this week's Outlawz Sketch Challenge was the perfect opportunity to use them and so I did just that!
Here's my card.
My mom passed away some time ago, and I miss her every day!
I made a Mother's Day card for my daughter-in-law because she is so special to me and is such a good mom to my grandkids. I'm entering this card into the Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge. My image is a digi from Pink Cat Studio.
I got this cute little digi over at Alicia's Little Shop called "Alicia and her little cat". Just love this. I colored the image in with my copic markers. Kept it very simple but couldn't resist adding a few little rhinestones to her headband.
Hope you like it!
How about a Little Fun in the Sun! I'm all for that!
This week, the Outlawz Paper Ala Mode Challenge asked us to add a bird to our creation. I love this little bird from Pink Cat Studio. You can do so much with it! I knew what background paper I wanted to use so I just colored the birdie in with matching copic markers.
Found the perfect ribbon to put underneath the image and it is Fun in the Sun!
This card is for the birds! Actually it is for the Outlawz Copic Promarker Challenge. The twist is use the theme of birds, bees, and other bugs. I used a rubber stamp from Outlines Rubber Stamp Company.
It is my 10th spring living out in the country and I think I will have to give up on growing tulips. Just when they get ready to burst open with a pretty bloom, the rabbits come along and nibble them down to the ground. I was going to put out some chicken wire and spray with bitter tasting Tree Guard but I was too late. Oh well.... no rabbits are eating these tulips in the card I made for the Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge. The twist this week was to add buttons. My tulip image is a rubber stamp by D.O.T.S. (now Close to My Heart Stamps).
This golf cart image was drawn by Sandi Huggett of the Outlawz Creative Freebie Challenge. She gave it to us free to see what we would come up with for our cards using her image. Thanks Sandi!
Here's my card.
Anne Fenton of the Outlawz Creative Freebie Challenge gave us this free digi image to work with this month. This little frog named Freddie is skewering up his bugs for dinner. Yummmmm!!
My sentiment "Birthday Wishes" is a preprinted tag from a kit. Thanks Anne for the sweet little frog image!
Love apples! Wish my apple trees would start producing a little better! Every year, there seems to be a weather problem that affects me actually getting any apples! Oh, well, here is a card I made of a cute apple tree that I stamped for an Outlawz Clean and Simple Challenge that asked us to feature a tree or trees. I have never used this stamp before although I have had it a number of years! What a perfect chance to use it now!
Here's my apple tree card. The ribbon I used was a gift from my Swap Buddy Melissa! She sure knows how to pick out beautiful ribbon.
Remember the old saying.....An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!
The Simply Challenged Challenge needs to have embossing and I did it twice! Once on the teal vertical strip that I decorated with jewels and on the printed background paper behind the image. I hope it shows up.
For the Outlawz Challenge, it was Anything Goes! Always love that one!
Have a great day....getting cold here AGAIN! Come on spring, where are you?
