June Progressive Challenge at the Outlawz

Hello everyone!

It's June and we have a new Progressive challenge at the Outlawz  that starts June 1 and runs through June 30th!  Andrea Norris of SheepSkiDesigns has generously donated the image "My Fair Lady" this month for us to use. Thanks, Andrea!

Here is my card. Hope you will stop by the challenge and see what my teammates have made with this gorgeous image!

This was such a fun card to make! First, I used one of the Spellbinders Labels 10 nested dies to cut out my image. Then, I used Copic markers to lightly color.

I layered a piece of white glitter cardstock onto plain white cardstock base (5 x 7 inches) . Next I cut a card front from my new Anna Griffin Die set and layered it over the white glitter cardstock. Then I layered my colored image on top of that layer.
I used White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops over the gown. I finished off with some tiny pearls and a butterfly sticker. When I photographed my card, the dress looked like a lovely lavender due to the Nuvo glitter drops! It was meant to be white, but I like the lavender!

Outlawz Sketch challenge May 31, 2017

We have s a new Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz

Our sponsor this month is All Dressed Up. The May winner will get to select two digital images from the shop.

Here is our Sketch for this week!

Here is my card! My image is called Happy Birthday -03 by our sponsor, All Dressed Up.

I colored my image with my Copic markers after cutting my image out with my seldom used Scan n Cut! (I am going to try and use it more often) My yellow oval is cut with a stitched oval die from Lawn Fawn. The papers are all from my stash and the pink ribbon is brand new from Stampin' Up! I added a few sequins to add some interest to all the yellow space. I could have easily used a smaller die, but oh, well, once it was done, I just let it be.

If you have time, drop by the Outlawz Sketch Challenge! It is so easy to join!

The red striped paper is from my stash and the Gold Foil layer is Stampin' Up! I finished with some Diamond Stickles.
The finished size is 5 x 7 inches.

Bird Cage by All Dressed Up

We have s a new Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz

Our sponsor this month is All Dressed Up. The May winner will get to select two digital images from the shop.

Here is our Sketch for this week!

Here is my card! My image is called Bird Cage by our sponsor, All Dressed Up.

I colored my Bird Cage image with my Copic markers and then trimmed the image to fit. I used a corner rounder punch to round the corners off. The floral background layer was cut with a Tonic die called Gothic Border Square, a five piece die set. I used the very outer edge to get the look that the sketch used.  It was the closest thing I had in that size of a die. I placed little tiny pearls around the square. The Flower is from my stash. Was looking for a butterfly but couldn't find one in the right size. The twine is from Stampin' Up! and is Calypso Coral. My overall card size is 6 x 6 inches.

I'm entering my card in the All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge  as the theme is World in Bloom.

Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge May 12, 2017

We have a new challenge  at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge! Each week we give you four themes to choose from and you can enter up to three times per week!

The themes this week are Man's Birthday Card, Card with Horses, Baby Animals,  and Christmas.  I chose to do a Christmas theme this week.

My card uses a Bugaboo image called Window Santa and  I colored it with Copic markers.  The background printed layer is by Graphic 45 and when I flipped it over, I saw the Merry Christmas which I trimmed and used for the sentiment at the top.  I got some new Elizabeth Craft dies this week and used one from the Jewels 1 set to make my border and added tiny rhinestones for some sparkle.
The finished size is 5 x 7 inches.

I hope you will visit Festive Friday's at the Outlawz and see what my teammates have made!
