Taking Selfies

Ha! Thought my title may grab your attention. I don't take selfies because I always think I look hideous!  Haha! But my cute reindeer from Bugaboo seem to be enjoying it!! Santa's Reindeer is one of our themes this week at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge!

It's Friday and there is a new Festive Friday's Challenge and here is my DT card with a Bugaboo image that looked to me as if these cute little reindeer were having so much fun posing for pics!!

The coloring was pretty simple with my Copic markers and then I just let the background gift paper do all the work along with a green ribbon. Very simple Christmas card!  I made the Taking Selfies byline by using my computer and Word.

Bugaboo is always our sponsor for the Festive Friday's Challenge and is giving a great prize of 4 digital images to our lucky March winner! Please visit Bugaboo as they are so generous with their prizes and we simply couldn't have challenges without them!

Hope you will stop by the Festive Friday's Challenge at the Outlawz. Our other themes this week are Spring Buds, Lots of Glitter, and Let's Play Ball.

Thanks for coming by!

A Basket of Bunnies at the Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Time for a new Sketch at the Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge!

Our sponsor this month is Bugaboo Stamps. The winner for March will get to select 4 digi images!

Here is our Sketch for this week!

And here is my card for the sketch challenge using Bugaboo image Bunnies in a Basket. I had to turn the sketch a 90 degree rotation to make my image work with this sketch!

I really enjoyed making this Easter card. I colored my image with Copic markers and then found this Hippity Hop paper from my stash and cut a border of flowers from another slip of paper I had stashed away. I cut the stitched oval with my Gina Marie stitched oval die. I added a flower and a ribbon bow and that was it!

From the Heart March Progressive Challenge

I'm so glad Faith of From the Heart Stamps is back creating again after her period of scary health issues! I couldn't wait to join in the March Progressive Challenge!

Here is my card using the St. Patrick's Day image that was our freebie image for the March Challenge!

I colored with Copic markers and used some green glittery cardstock for one of my layers. Just love this digi image!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!! I appreciate it so much!!

I Love a Parade

I do love a parade! Especially when it is an Easter parade with Bloobel Stamps bunnies in it!

My card below is made for the March Progressive Challenge at Bloobel Stamps. This month, Lisa let us choose from several images and I chose the cute wacky bunny!!

I printed my bunny three times and colored with Copic markers. I used my new Thingies tool to line up my stickers for I Love a Parade. (I'm seriously trying to use the tools that I think I absolutely must own!)

I'm entering this card in the Bloobel challenge.

Have a great day and thanks for coming by!!

I chose There's a Mouse in the House for my theme and stamped an image by House Mouse. I colored with my Copic markers and thought the papers by Stampin' Up! went perfect with my ice cream theme.

And here is my card using Puppy Girlz from our sponsor, Bugaboo. All materials are from my ever expanding stash, but I was able to pull out my decorative scissors to make a zig zag cut around my image. It's been awhile since I pulled out these scissors. Felt good to use some of my old stuff!

The gems and floral punches are from Stampin' Up! My coloring was done with Copic markers.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to Ewe

That's right! Happy St. Patrick's Day to Ewe! Okay, so I am a little bit early. Like a week! St. Patick's Day is actually March 17th,  but at Festive Friday's Challenge at the Outlawz, we are starting the celebration early! I'm not Irish but I certainly do love everything about St. Paddy's Day! I've had my home decorations up since the day after Valentine's Day. Gotta love those leprechauns and shamrocks!

Back to the Festive Friday's Challenge...........we have four themes every week and you already know that St. Patrick's Day is one of them. The other three themes are Something Pink, a Card with a Christmas Star, and New Puppy.

I made two cards this week and both are for St. Patrick's Day.

Here is my first card using an image and sentiment by our sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps. I colored the image with my Copic markers and layered the image behind a window card that I found when trying to organize my craft room. I sponged Emerald Envy ink (Stampin' Up!) around my sentiment layer. The flower was made by using my Stampin' Up! flower punches. I was going to decorate the green flower with Stickles and then decided it didn't really need it. I had to use some restraint there because I love putting Stickles on about every card I make! Instead, I finished off with some green gems from my stash.

My second card was fun to make. First I colored an image drawn by my teammate, Anne Fenton. I colored with Copic markers. The background layer was an experiment inspired by a youtube video I watched. I took some hot pressed watercolor paper and using a large flat brush started covering the paper with water and then just started dropping shades of green watercolor paint onto the paper and turned my paper every which way to get the colors to run into each other. While it was still wet, I gave it a couple of squirts of green Color Burst powder and got a nice effect. I kept the wet paper taped down overnight and the next morning removed the tape and really liked the pretty green color background.  Here is my card.  The stitching around the image layer is a rectangle die by Gina Marie. The sentiment is an actual stamp I've had for a loooooong time!  Years! I finished with some green gems from my stash.

Hope you will drop by our Festive Friday's Challenge!

Birthday Balloons at the Outlawz Sketch Challenge!

Happy Wednesday! A new Sketch for you from the Outlawz Sketch Challenge!

Our sponsor this month is Bugaboo Stamps. The winner for March will get to select 4 digi images!

Here is our Sketch for this week!

And here is my card! I used  Make It Snappy Birthday Balloons digital image by our sponsor for my card and colored the image with my Copic markers. It made me feel very cheery coloring up those balloons!  My background layer is from my paper stash and the die cuts are from Stampin' Up!

When you order the Birthday Balloons image, you also get the "plain" version without the Happy Birthday sentiment!
