Celebrating Halloween at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge

Halloween is right around the corner and we are celebrating it at the Festive Friday's Challenge at the Outlawz! Every week we give you four themes to pick from and this week Halloween Day was a popular choice!!

Here is my card using a Bugaboo image. I love these images as they make such a quick and easy card and since I'm a patterned paper addict, I always seem to have no shortage of paper!
I used Copic markers to color my harvest moon and the clouds were done by sponging some ink around a scalloped circle die cut.

Festive Friday's has two sponsors every month!

Our first sponsor is a2zScrapbooking.  The prize for the monthly winner will be a digi kit. What fun!! a2zScrapbooking sells so many products and they are the exclusive dealer for Hero Arts Digital products!

Our second sponsor is Bugaboo!
The prize is $21 worth of digital images.

I hope you will check out the Outlawz!

Thanks for dropping by!!

A Cat in Her Hat at the Outlawz Sketch Challenge

Our final week of Halloween cards! I have had so much fun using Bloobel Stamps by Lisa Bloobel. They are quirky and a lot of fun to color. This week I used Cat in Her Hat for our last Wednesday Sketch Challenge for October.

Lisa Bloobel of Bloobel Stamps is our sponsor all month and she will give a prize of 2 digis to our lucky October winner.

Here is our Sketch for this week!

I had to flip the sketch top to bottom to make it work for me! As usual, all materials are from my stash. I colored the witch with Copic markers and used info from this month's Kit and Clowder class for coloring green skin.  Hope you think it is creepy!!  Hahaha!! (witch's laugh).

Hope you will stop by the challenge and see what my teammates have made.

And thanks so much for checking out my blog this week!

Punk for a Day at the Outlawz Festive Fridays Challenge

Every week at the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge, we give you four themes to pick from to make a crafty item. One of our themes this week is  Punk for a Day and so I used an image by Bugaboo called Kidz Punk Topper. I am in Halloween mode right now so I made a card I can send out at Halloween.

Here is my card. I colored with Copic markers. It was fun coloring blue hair as I don't usually do that. I love the look on the little kitty's face as it eyes the big spider!

Chocolate Cupcake Day at the Outlawz Festive Fridays Challenge

Mmmmmmm.   Chocolate Cupcake Day! This must be heaven, right???

Bugaboo, one of our sponsors every month at the Outlawz Festive Fridays Challenge, had the cutest cupcake image and I used it for my card. Every week we give you four new themes to pick from and I couldn't resist the Chocolate Cupcake Day theme! If you want to see the other themes, you will need to stop by the Outlawz Festive Friday's Challenge because I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise.

Here is my card using Cupcake Tag.

I colored the image with Copic markers and then cut out with my Spellbinders Scalloped Circle dies. The hearts are punched with a heart punch. My papers are from my stash and I originally was going to use the brown striped patterned paper for my background until I cut it and turned it over and saw this beautiful chocolaty color with a pretty pattern on the reverse side and then it came to me to use that side of the paper with the brown striped paper as accent strips. My card is 5 x 7 inches.

Outlawz Sketch Challenge

There's a chill in the air this morning!  Very normal for this time of year in the Midwest. Halloween will be in a couple of weeks and I have to say that I love Halloween! Below is the new sketch for this week's Outlawz Sketch Challenge and also my DT card for this week's sketch challenge. I used Lisa Bloobel's image Cast A Spell.

The link to Lisa's store is below my card!

I turned the sketch so my image would fit into the space.

I colored with Copic markers and my papers are from my stash and the spider web is from Stampin' Up! from last season! The spiders are stickers and the Happy Halloween is chipboard that came in a set!  I really like how this card turned out. maybe it is all the purple!! LOL

The Tallest Hat -- Outlawz Sketch Challenge

Hey! It's October, one of my most favorite months of the year. We have a new Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz and a new sponsor, too.

Lisa Bloobel of Bloobel Stamps is our sponsor all month and she will give a prize of 2 digis to our lucky October winner.

Here is the sketch!

Here is my card for the challenge using The Tallest Hat! I thought she should have a green face so I used Copic markets to color up the image. Ribbon by Stampin Up!  The rest is from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will check out our new challenge at the Outlawz!
