No Foolin'------A new Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz April 1

Happy April 1st!  (or Happy April Fool's Day).......no practical jokes or pranks here because I've never really cared for those kinds of shenanigans!!  Maybe because I fall for it every time!! Hahaha

But it is no joke that we have a new Sketch challenge for you at the Outlawz.

Our April sponsor is Drawn With Character. Krista has supplied our design team with some super cute images. She will award our April Sketch winner with 3 digis from her shop.

Here is our sketch this week! I love this one and I think I'm going to save it to use again and again!!

And here is my card using an Easter Bunny image from our sponsor Drawn with Character.

I used Copic markers to color in my image and to make the background around the bunny. The papers are from Close to My Heart and the flower is from a pack by Bo Bunny (just coincidental). The bling is from my stash.

I hope you will "hop" (heehee) over to the Sketch challenge and see what my teammates have done!

Challenges I am entering:
Melonheadz Friends - Spring
Crafty Boots - Easter
2CuteInk - Easter
Marker Pop Blog Challenge - Easter
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I really do appreciate it! Happy Easter to all who celebrate it!!

Some Bunny Loves You

Hey there!! This is my first card for the My Whimsical Little World Progressive Challenge.

The link above will take you to Paola and My Whimsical Little World's facebook page.  Here is how the challenge works.
To start, you go to the SHOP and purchase the digital image of the bunny for 50 percent off.
Then, in the photo album on the facebook page, you place your photo.
Next month, you get the April image for free!!  That is so fun!!

Here is my card using this adorably sweet little bunny!!

I colored my bunny with various shades of Copic in the W family. My papers are from my stash. The sentiment came from a Gina K Designs set.

Hope you like my card!
I am also entering it in the:
Just Inspirational Challenge where the theme is Cute!
Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!

Right on Track for Deedee's Challenge

A whole week of March left and I'm getting my Deedee's Digis Progressive Challenge done early!! Yay!! That does NOT happen very often.

My card is below.  Since my grandson loves trains, I thought this would make a really cute Easter card for him!  Both the image and the sentiments are from Deedees set Right on Track. Plus you get more images and sentiments. Great value!!

And, if you use the image this month and enter it in the Progressive Challenge, you will automatically receive the April image!! That is really, really, really, great value!!

I colored with Copic markers. I was going to draw in a train track, but tried that earlier and had to throw my card out, so decided that this train engine was just going to have to sit on the dirt. My background layer is from my paper stash! Very CAS card, but you know that little boys don't care about fluff and fuss!!

Please go check out the CHALLENGE and the STORE where you will find an incredible amount of wonderful sets of digital images.

I am also entering my card in
Fantastic Tuesday Challenge - Easter
Cards 4 Guyz - Transport
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes

Thanks for visiting my blog! I really appreciate it!!

Gerda's March Progressive Challenge

Today I have a card that I made for Gerda Steiner Designs' Progressive Challenge for the month of March.

It's a progressive challenge which means that if you played last month, you get your image for free for April! If not, you can buy the image and start playing (which is what I did). Can't wait for the April image---I know it will be adorable.

Here is my card!

I colored with Copic markers except for the sky which I used my Inktense pencils. the papers and ribbon are from my stash. I think this makes a great Easter card!!

I also put this card in the Outlawz Colour Challenge which has a cute little inspiration picture and this week you can pick your inspiration! My inspiration was "Spring."

Thanks for stopping by!!

Outlawz Sketch Challenge March 25

Time sure flies. It is Wednesday here again already. I hope you will join in the fun at the Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge!
Wednesday Sketch

Our sponsor for the whole month of March is Hannah Lynn Art. I just love these digital images so much. Great fun to color and create with!! The winner of this month's random draw will get a $10 gift certificate to be used at the shop.

Here is our sketch for this week!! I think you will love it!

And here is my card!!

I used a Hannah Lynn image called Tea Rose Fairy and colored with Copic markers. The papers, ribbon, flowers, and gems are all from my stash. I wasn't intending to add the green gems, but I made a "boo boo" when I was working with the adhesive and it lifted some of the green paper layer!! Gasp!!! But the green gems covered it up nicely. I put to use a brand new die from Lawn Fawn. One of the 'stitched' rectangles from the set of four!

I am going to enter my card in these challenges:
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes
Party Time Tuesday - Anything Goes
Top Tip Tuesday - Buttons or Bows
Digi Choosday - Lots of Layers

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Hope you are having a great week!!

Guesting at Crafting by Designs

I have a fun card for you to look at today.
It is a card I made as a guest designer at Crafting By Designs. A few weeks ago, my card was the Saturday Spotlight card, so I got to be a guest designer this week!

Crafting by Designs

The theme this week is Masculine and so I used "The Chef" by Make It Crafty as my main focal image.

I colored The Chef with my Copic markers and then did some layering with some coordinating papers. The tabs on the side are punch cuts from the Mosaic punch sold by Stampin' Up!  Half of the punch cut is showing and the other half is tucked under the layer. I spelled out CHEF with some letter stickers from House Mouse as is the two leaf stickers on the top layer.

I am going to enter my card into these challenges:
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Marker Pop- Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

And here is the card I made using the Hannah Lynn Art image Birthday Girl.

Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge for March

So, the calendar says March 1st..................sure doesn't feel like it. Cold here and snowing again! But looking on the bright side, we have a new March challenge for our Progressive Freebie challenge at the Outlawz.

We had a great amount of participants in February and hope to have even more for the month of March. If you took part in this progressive challenge in February, you will automatically receive by email the March image. If you didn't take part but want to, it is easy to join the fun.

First, you must be a member of the Outlawz. If you aren't a member, just drop by and ask to join. After your request is approved, you can join the Progressive Challenge or any of our other seven challenges.

Next, you will need to register to play. Do this by sending an email to the address on the challenge page with your name and email address and your image will be sent to you.

Now, to get to the new challenge! Our image for March has been donated by Gerda Steiner Designs. She has generously given a cute little digital image for us to use, Elephant and Bird. Be sure and read the Terms of Use on the challenge page. And please show your support for Gerda by visiting her online store.

Here is the card I made with Gerda's image, Elephant and Bird.

I used Copic markers to color my image. The Happy Birthday is a gold peel-off sticker by Starform. After I colored my image, I used Spellbinders Fancy Threader Die to make my die cut. Then, I threaded some dotted ribbon through the ribbon holes and threaded some twine through the small holes.

We hope you will enjoy playing with the lovely freebies we have lined up for you and we also have some prizes along the way! All members that play each month for six months will be entered into a draw for a $20 GC to be used at one of our sponsors' stores!

Rules:
The rules are very simple: join the challenge, join the progressive/freebie group, send us an email to register and then enter a project made with the image supplied before 6:00 p.m. EST on the last day of the month and you will automatically get the next image. If for any reason you don’t get your project made and you would like to rejoin us, you can buy the image of the month from the sponsor's store and as long as you enter it before the end of the month you will get the next one free and you will then get them automatically each month you enter a project.
Please do not add your image to Pinterest, or your blog or anywhere it can be copied from without a watermark. You can not share these images with anyone – if your friends or family want them send them HERE to join in and get their image or if they don’t want to join the challenge please send them to the sponsor's store to purchase the image.
When you have made your project please place it onto the challenge page for March, enter it into the Gallery (use the tag PF04 for the March challenge) and the March Inlinkz to be entered into the draw for the site wide prizes from our other wonderful sponsors – check out the Outlawz side bar for this month’s prizes!

I am entering my card into these challenges:
Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper - Anything Goes
Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes
Creative Fingers - Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes
Sugar and Betty - Anything Goes
