February 18 Outlawz Sketch Challenge

Can't believe that February is half over (even though it is a short month!). I need to start looking through my gardening catalogs because it will soon be time to plant flowers!! And I'm READY!

But meanwhile, there is lots to keep me busy. We have a new Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz!

Wednesday Sketch

Our sponsor all month is The Stamping Boutique. They will give a prize to the monthly winner of 2 digis from their store but if the winner has used a TSB image, the prize will be 3 digis!

Here is the sketch for this week!

And here is my card using Turtle, a digital image by The Stamping Boutique. I rotated the sketch to accommodate the shape of my printed image.

I used papers from my stash and used Copic markers to color the image! On the right hand side, I used a suede jewelry cord that I had picked up on a clearance shelf. The mossy green color was a perfect match for this card and laid flat against the cardstock. The brads are from Spare Parts by the Paper Studio.  Overall card size is 5 x 7 inches.

Hope you will stop by the challenge and see what the other Design Team gals have made.

Challenges I am entering:
A girl who crafts - Anything Goes
Crafts Galore Challenge - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by my little blog!

  1. Cute, cute, cute and the green cord was a fantastic idea and goes so well. I think it will be ages before I can see the ground so goodness knows when we will be able to start planting. We were talking about it being lent and Easter is just around the corner, we definitely will still have snow on the grow for Easter. Nothing we can do, so we just grin and bear it. Have a fun day just like your little turtle and bee are having.

    1. Thanks, Donna!! Well, if you get a lot of bright sunny days, maybe you will see the ground in time for an Easter egg hunt. A lot can happen in six weeks!!
