New Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz

Mother Nature is not being too kind to those in the Northeast of the USA, but we are having unusually nice weather for January here in the Midwest.  Will be 50 degrees today and snow is coming for the weekend! But for now, I will enjoy it and try not to feel guilty!!

Without further ado, we have a new Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz!
Wednesday Sketch

Our sponsor this month is Beccy's Place. She will give the monthly winner 3 digis from her shop.
http://www.beccysplace.com/

Here is the sketch for this week!

And here is my card for this week using Dalmation from Beccy's Place. Because I love dog digis so much, I bought the Dog bundle! Really cute!!!

Not much coloring involved on this one, just used some Copic T0 for some subtle shading around the inner part of the dog image and T4 and T6 for the floor. The red collar is R27 and R11. I used a little bit of Diamond Stickles for the gems on his collar after coloring in with a gold galaxy marker.

The paw prints are stickers and the dog bones and from a die set by Paper Smooches called Dog Icons.  Inside my card are more die cuts from the same set. My sentiment, I Ruff You is from a Dog stamp set by the Image Tree. Here is the inside!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and hope you will visit the Outlawz! Hope you are safe if you are in the path of Winter Storm Juno!

  1. Oh Darcy, so darn cute. Great job with the shading and I love those paw prints, especially the ones on the inside within the hearts. For a dog lover like myself, this one melts my heart. We got about 18 inches of snow, but never lost power so all is good. Now I have to put away all the candles and lanterns I had ready to use. That could take all day. LOL
